Mr. Udo Gattenlöhner
Mr. Udo Gattenlöhner is an agricultural engineer and the Executive Director and is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the International Foundation Global Nature Fund. Global Nature Fund is a non-profit, private, independent international foundation for the protection of environment and nature, registered according to § 80 BGB by the Senate Administration for Justice, Berlin.
GNF was founded in spring in 1998 with the objective to foster the protection of nature and environment as well as animals. GNF is implementing development cooperation projects focusing on nature, environment and basic needs of local communities. Furthermore, GNF is pursuing model projects for the promotion of sustainable economy. In 1998 the Living Lakes network, a global partnership of environmental organisations striving for the protection of lakes and wetlands worldwide, has been initiated by GNF.
Dr. Mark Stuart Talary
Dr. Mark Talary is an experienced business developer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He is an experienced engineering professional skilled in Medical Devices, Innovation, Biotechnology, Management, and Biomedical Engineering.
He has multidisciplinary expertise, knowledge in areas of electronics, biophysics, life sciences and risk analysis & is a seasoned veteran of operational competence in team building, motivation and training.
His advanced leadership skills in technical problem solving, product innovation, project planning and strategic development has resulted in the growth and success of many tech start-ups that he’s supported.
Ms. Natalie Boyd
Ms. Natalie Boyd is an international banking and finance lawyer with a particular specialisation in conventional and Islamic structured finance and funds, debt capital markets, derivatives and Middle Eastern financial services regulation. Prior to founding Oryx Law, Natalie was counsel/partner at leading international law firms Clifford Chance, Simmons & Simmons and K&L Gates.
She has worked in London, Paris, Dubai and Doha and continues to divide her time between the UK and the Middle East. Natalie has been nominated by IFLR as the leading female practitioner in the UAE and recognised in Chambers Global by clients as “a very sharp lawyer with excellent knowledge”.
Mr. Sarinda Unamboowe
Mr. Sarinda Unamboowe is a Director of MAS’ Apparel Board, he is currently the CEO & Managing Director of MAS Kreeda, the Nike division of MAS Holdings, and sits on the advisory committee on sustainability of the MAS group. A committed change agent he has been one of the driving forces behind the ‘Work from Anywhere’ initiatives at MAS and a strong advocate of flexible work policies and empowering women in leadership roles. He is a recipient of the Humanitarian Alumni Award 2016 conferred by his alma mater – Ithaca College for his humanitarian efforts and is a Trustee of two separate charities, The Colours of Courage Trust; where he co-founded TRAIL – in 2011 he walked from the southernmost town of Sri Lanka to its northernmost tip, raising USD 2.6 Mn to build a cancer hospital in Tellipalai, Jaffna and most recently, Trail 2016 — a 28 day walk, this time from North to South to raise USD 5 Mn and build a Cancer hospital in Karapitiya, Galle.
The Wheels for Wheels Foundation, and under its banner “Around the Pearl”, participates annually in a 10-day bicycle tour around Sri Lanka to promote awareness for Cerebral Palsy and raise funds for wheelchairs to aid children afflicted with the disease. He is an avid conservationist and published wildlife photographer, has also published books documenting Sri Lanka’s wildlife: Named – Elusive, Enchanted and Encounters. His passions also include endurance cycling and trekking and is an executive member of Biodiversity Sri Lanka as well.
